The Inside Story
The heart of it is the quartz envelope, filled with halogen gas. That gas lets the filament run hot—really hot—without burning out fast. So you get a long, tough lamp life. And the heat? It’s immediate. Shortwave infrared hits full temp in seconds. We use the R7s connector because it’s solid. It holds tight, handles high current, and won’t loosen even when things get scorching. The tube coating is just as stubborn—built to take thermal shock and knocks without cracking, even when you’re cycling fast.
Where They Shine
These heaters are made for tough jobs, like PET blowing, where speed and precision are everything. The shortwave output cuts right through the material, so you can shrink cycle times and keep things moving. They’re small, too. That compact footprint makes them easy to drop into tight spots. The One Thing to Keep in Mind
