At 230V and 1000W, they hit those temperature targets instantly. If you’re tired of waiting for old-school heating elements to warm up, this is your fix. It just drops right into your system and starts working. The nitty-gritty on power Since this is 1000W packed into a 473mm frame, it puts out a serious amount of heat. We stuck with the 230V standard because it plays nice with most industrial grids. You won’t have to mess around with step-down transformers or complicated wiring. Your parts will hit curing temp in seconds. Just a heads-up: don’t try to “overclock” it by pushing the voltage too high. You’ll fry the filament. Stick to the 230V spec, and the lamp will actually last. Why halogen and quartz? Here’s the secret: we use a halogen gas fill. This stops the tungsten filament from evaporating and gunking up the inside of the tube. It keeps the glass clear, which means your heat output stays steady. We also used quartz glass. Why? Because flash curing is brutal. You’re clicking the power on and off rapidly, which creates massive thermal shock. Regular glass would shatter. Quartz just takes it. A few things to watch out for Look, this thing is a beast. While the 473mm size fits most standard banks, 1000W generates a lot of waste heat around the holders. Make sure your cooling fans are up to the task. And please,keep your reflectors clean. If your reflectors get pitted or dirty, you’re basically throwing away IR energy. That forces the lamp to run hotter than it needs to, which kills the lifespan. A quick wipe-down of your optics every now and then will save you from having to replace the lamp way too soon.
