You won’t have to mess around with bulky step-down transformers just to get it running. But here’s a tip: keep your housing reflectors spotless. Because the heat flux is so intense over that 656mm stretch, any dust or grime on your reflectors means you’re just wasting energy. You want that heat hitting your target, not soaking into your chassis. Why the “White Reflection” actually matters We used high-purity quartz because, let’s be honest, rapid heating and cooling is brutal on glass. It needs to handle that thermal shock without cracking. Then there’s the white coating. Think of it like a mirror. Instead of letting the IR energy leak out the back of the tube, the coating bounces it forward. You get a much heavier heat load on your workpiece without having to pull more power from the wall. It’s just smarter.
